Reiki
Reiki is a gentle healing practice where a trained practitioner uses light touch, or places their hands just above specific areas of the body, to channel energy and help people relax and feel better. The practice aims to clear energy blockages in the body and restore natural balance. It's now commonly offered in hospitals and wellness centers as a way to reduce stress and promote healing, similar to other relaxation techniques like meditation.
Brainspotting is a therapeutic approach where a trained practitioner helps people identify specific eye positions that connect with stored emotional distress. By holding focus on these eye positions (called "brainspots"), a person can process difficult experiences and feelings at a deep neurological level. This therapy is used in mental health settings to help with trauma, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.
